Good karma

Sending e-mails that show that you are working on Christmas Eve doesn't look too good. And these days, when a lot of people get their e-mails on their phone, even the most benign, a non-urgent e-mail can interrupt somebody's day off. Laytr can help you avoid that kind of bad karma.
When you put in a few hours of work over the weekend or the holidays, you can produce dozens of outgoing emails. For the most part, however, you don't actually expect anyone to reply until they're back at work on Monday.

With most everyone having e-mail on their phone these days, however, you might just interrupt somebody's day with the kids, and get an instant reply. Now, was that really necessary?

Instead of just hitting the send button on your Sunday morning e-mails, send them through Laytr, scheduled for delivery first thing Monday morning. Not only will you rack up good karma points that will benefit you on your own days off, but it will look like you're up and at it really early on Monday.

And while working through the weekend might seem to others like you're playing catch-up, jump-starting work on a Monday morning is just plain good work ethics.
